DESCRIPTION:A hard, chemical-resistant, aliphatic, water-borne polyurethane dispersion.
SUGGESTED USES:HD-2125 was developed for use on flexible and rigid PVC and other plastic substrates. It may also be formulated to provide gloss topcoats on cementatious, metal and wood substrates. This product exhibits superior chemical resistance properties, while maintaining excellent flexibility and gloss retention characteristics.
CHARACTERISTICS:
- Superior adhesion to PVC
- Excellent UV resistance
- Exceptional alcohol resistance
- Humidity resistance
- Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone co-solvent
APPLICATION:HD-2125 may be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or brush applications. Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.
DRYING:HD-2125 may be air dried, if desired, depending on film thickness. The addition of 5 - 10% coalescing solvent is suggested in ambient temperature drying situations. Typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
