DESCRIPTION:An aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion designed to produce unequaled clarity and gloss.

SUGGESTED USES:HD-2209 was designed for wood finishing applications, but it can be used on a wide variety of both rigid and flexible substrates. Use wherever gloss and clarity are of paramount importance.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Wet look gloss
• Glass-like clarity
• Mirror like definition-of-image
• Adhesion to a wide variety of substrates: wood, plastics, textiles
• Dilution and clean up with ordinary tap water
• Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) co-solvent

APPLICATION:HD-2209 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. It may be thickened with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

CURING:HD-2209 can be air-dried. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
