DESCRIPTION:A cost effective, aliphatic polyurethane / acrylic hybrid dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties.

SUGGESTED USES:HD-5002 was designed for coatings applications on a wide variety of plastic substrates, including ABS, Lexan, Noryl and polystyrene where abrasion and chemical resistance properties are required.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Broad adhesion latitude to plastics
• Outstanding water and chemical resistance
• Excellent exterior weathering performance
• Can be crosslinked to enhance performance
• Dilution and clean-up with ordinary tap water
• Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) co-solvent

APPLICATION:HD-5002 can be used as a sole vehicle for spray or rotogravure applications. Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

DRYING:HD-5002 can be air dried, if desired, depending on film thickness. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
