DESCRIPTION:A cost effective, aliphatic polyurethane / acrylic hybrid dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties.

SUGGESTED USES:HD-5004 was designed for coatings applications on wood substrates where excellent abrasion-resistance and mar-resistance are required.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Good toughness, abrasion and mar resistance
• Outstanding water and chemical resistance
• Can be crosslinked to enhance performance
• Dilution and clean-up with ordinary tap water
• Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) co-solvent

APPLICATION:HD-5004 can be used as supplied or blended with acrylic emulsions for brush, pad or spray applications. Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

CURING:HD-5004 dries at ambient room temperatures above 50°F in 2 hours. Additional coats may be applied at this interval to build film thickness. HD-5004 may be crosslinked with polyaziridines to further enhance performance.
