Polypropylene Flock Adhesive

DESCRIPTION:Translucent viscous acrylic/urethane compound.

SUGGESTED USES:Non-foamed two-part flock adhesive for pretreated polypropylene, 15:1 by weight with HA-806.

CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Excellent wet abrasion resistance (Taber H-18 wheel w/ 500g)
  • Excellent scuff resistance
  • Excellent coating rheology

APPLICATION:

METHOD One coat system using reverse roll
COVERAGE 4-5 wet mils
DRYING CYCLE 1-3 minutes at 225oF (107oC)
CURING CYCLE 1-2 days at controlled room temperature (64 oF- 86 oF) (18 oC-30 oC)
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: (typical) PACKAGING & STORAGE
SOLIDS: 41% PACKAGING: 55 gal returnable fiber drums on returnable pallets. Other as requested.
* VISCOSITY: 7,000 cps @ 77oF (25oC) STORAGE: Keep from freezing. Keep containers closed. Store at 50-90oF
pH:8.5 STABILITY: 3 months at recommended storage conditions. Rotate inventory.
DENSITY: 8.9 lbs/gal

*Brookfield Viscometer Model DV-1: #5 spindle @ 20 RPM
