DESCRIPTION: A soft, NMP-free, APEO-free, aliphatic, water-borne, polyurethane dispersion.

SUGGESTED USES: L-2961 is designed for basecoat applications to provide excellent UV resistance, superior flexibility, very good abrasion resistance, and high strength properties. HD-4638 can be used for where soft-hand, and excellent soak-ability are required.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Forms soft, flexible, dry films
• Excellent UV-resistance
• Good abrasion resistance
• Superior low temperature flexibility and crack resistance
• High melting point (320^oF)
• Contains dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether (DMM) co-solvent

APPLICATION: Spray or pad -- solids may be adjusted for optimum add-on. Rheology may be modified with associative thickeners for knife coating applications.

CURING: L-2961 will form a film at ambient temperatures. Typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
