DESCRIPTION:XS-4106-B is a solvent-based adhesive for use in friction tape.

SUGGESTED USES:This adhesive can be used to make double-sided tape for use in athletics for wrapping hockey sticks and other articles to improve grip.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Strong black color
• Dry film has aggressive tack.
• Good tack for wrapping at low temperature.
• Flammable in liquid and vapor phase.
• Resistant to high humidity and wet conditions.

APPLICATION:The adhesive is formulated to be applied by knife-over-roll. A 4 - 6 mil coating of the adhesive is applied to one side of a fabric carrier. A thinner coating is applied to the other side.

DRYING CYCLE: Forced hot air can be used to remove all solvent. Insufficient drying can result in the tape blocking together.
